As we wandered down the hill to where the car was parked, the views were stunning and the smells and sounds were all encompassing. People go about their business not worried about us at all. It’s a whole community that seems to revolve arond this massive Monastery. Memories……

Alister and Ali took us out to Zhongdian, the absolute highlight of our trip in Yunnan Proince, China. Families find it a great honour to send their sons to this Monastery. Here some Monks play instruments while others do some sort of dance in front of them
